It may be hard to believe, but I just discovered Wikipedia. I'm kinda slow, but methodical. This is an encyclopedia which--whether wordsmith or not-- you are invited to contribute to.

This particular page that I've pointed you to should be required reading for all parents, and anybody else that wants to stay current with the language and the times. It is a listing of internet abbreviations, slang, leetspeak, and picturegrams, but more, it is an education about the evolution of our language.
